The Salt Suite® is best known for its immersive salt therapy caves. There’s plenty to love about them: a 45-minute, more relaxing session; a calming atmosphere; and the option to bring friends and family along.
And while we’re glad our clients love our salt caves, we realized that you may be looking for something a little different—a space for one or two family members that delivers the therapy in 15 minutes.
That’s why we’re excited to introduce salt booths: the latest advance in halotherapy technology, now available at The Salt Suite®. Salt booths provide a more private, but equally therapeutic experience when you’re short on time.
One of the most common questions we’ve received: which is better—salt caves or salt booths?
Before we answer, it helps to understand exactly what each therapy option has to offer. Whether you’re a first-time visitor to The Salt Suite® or a halotherapy veteran, read on to learn more about our newest facility addition—and to find out how it can transform your approach to salt therapy.
What Are Salt Caves?
If you’ve visited The Salt Suite® in the past, you’re already familiar with our main offering! Salt caves are the primary vehicles for halotherapy, especially in the United States.
Our salt caves, equipped with salt-grinding halogenerators, provide a beneficial experience. Many clients may participate in a therapy session once weekly or two to three times weekly. Families with younger children, may reserve space in our family salt cave. The children’s cave is a social experience with room and time to play!!
What Are Salt Booths?
Salt booths encapsulate all the wellness benefits of salt caves—literally. These one- or two-person chambers offer the same therapeutic benefit as: grind salt into microscopic pieces that are delivered to different parts of the body. Additionally, a variety of customizable settings allow for brightness and noise adjustments, plus the option of add-on treatments, such as red light therapy and aromatherapy.
Because The Salt Suite®’s booths are designed for one person or two family members, they offer a more private experience than our therapy caves. The 15 minute therapy perfectly complements a flexible schedule. When life gets busy and you don’t have the time or energy to book a session in our salt caves, our booths provide the perfect personal getaway. Stop in on your lunch break or while you’re running errands to get a much-needed dose of halotherapy—all on your terms.
Questions to Ask Yourself
As you can see, neither salt caves nor salt booths are objectively “better” therapy experiences! The option that’s right for you depends on what you’d like to get out of your visit to The Salt Suite®. To help you decide, we’ve compiled a short list of questions to ask yourself before you schedule your next halotherapy session:
–How much time do I want to set aside for my therapy session?
–Do I want to bring friends, family, or children to my appointment?
–Am I interested in add-on treatments like infrared or red light therapy that the booth provides?
Choose What’s Right for You
Having trouble choosing? The good news is that you don’t have to stick to one kind of salt therapy forever. In fact, many The Salt Suite® clients opt for a mix of salt cave sessions and salt booth sessions to round out their wellness routines. There is no one-size-fits-all option here—there’s only what fits your life and your body’s needs!
A Salt Therapy Consultant will gladly help you decide which option is best for you and your needs during your next vist to The Salt Suite®. We look forward to helping you Breathe Easy™!
